Thank you for visiting the “Renu Africa” link.
The RENU Foundation is a 501-C-3 Public Charity dedicated to helping renew our nation and our planet through innovative green construction as well as outreach programs in poor developed and developing regions of the world.
We have developed a method approach we call the Renu Solution™. Although the Renu Foundation is a non-profit entity it has developed a financially sustainable method of funding its charitable purposes. In Africa, our approach revolves around the development, manufacturing and building of more affordable, quality, energy efficient, Green buildings and homes to provide self-sufficient housing for the urban poor, disaster victims, post-war reconstruction environments and the vast universe of emerging economies.
"The Renu Foundation has a particular commitment
to Africa’s economic and social development. " Kirk Melton, Founder
As part of our commitment to changing the face of Africa, Renu has assembled a team of experts, headed up by Ron Watkins, Eric Tande, James Coleman, Lamarr Kemp, and Shelvin Longmire to market and promote Renu's products, charitable programs and related services throughout the continent.
In loving memory...Ron Watkins was an entrepreneur who lived in Africa and consulted with numerous companies seeking to establish relationships in Africa. He was the author of two books, “Doing Business in Africa, Myths and Realities” and “Cooperative Economics, A Global Vision for Black Economic Empowerment.” Ron served as the Managing Director of the Renu Africa Team and Director of our Midwest Division. He will be deeply missed.
